I invited to UC Berkeley two of my friends and collaborators, Tim Bond and Ping Chong, for a personal discussion about their decades of experience as BIPOC theater practitioners, as well as how their professional experiences have changed to reflect the current moment. The discussion focussed on practices for artists in the theater and how these practices have been and continue to be honed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS
In 2019 I led a workshop at La Machina Fissa in Lombardy, Italy. We made commedia dell'arte style masks and devised a performance for the public.
ARTHAUS BERLIN CENTER FOR DEVISING
After the summer I led my workshop in Italy, UC Berkeley gave me professional development funds to go to Berlin to develop devising techniques using archetypes and masks at Arthaus Berlin's Center for Devising. We worked on incorporating the hero/heroine's journey into our mask work and looking at the shadow self as well as the neutral mask.
