This March, I will be playing Roya in Sanaz Toossi's Pulitzer Prize winning play, English. This production will be at the Cincinnati Playhouse directed by Kimberly Senior.
For the past year I have been working on an experimental Super 8 film titled "The Haunted Executioner," loosely based on a story of a medieval executioner haunted by his victims. Filmed across the US and in Italy, parts take place during the French Revolution, American Revolution, and in Ancient Rome and the Wild West.
In October, I played Palestinian mother Farha in Samer Saifan's short film If Birds Believed in God. The film is currently in post production.
